BCCI made a Big announcement late on Tuesday night that Indian fast bowler Harshit Rana has been included in the Indian team for the first Test of India vs England Test Series 2025 in Leeds. Harshit Rana has played two Test matches, five ODIs and one T20 match for India.
” The Indian Selection Committee has included Harshit Rana in the Indian team for the first Test at Leeds against Team England. Harshit Rana, who was also a part of the recent India A team, has joined the Indian team as they begin preparations for the first Test.” said a statement by Hon’ble Secretary Devjit Saikia
With the inclusion of Harshit Rana in the Indian team, the Indian team currently in England has a total of five brilliant fast bowlers in the form of Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Jasprit Bumrah, Akash Deep and Arshdeep Singh. By the way, the Indian team also includes two bowlers all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy and Shardul Thakur.
On the other hand, in an interview given to the popular Sky Sports, Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah Finally Revealed that he will not be able to play the entire five-match England Test series due to his back pain problem.
