Top order young batsman Priyansh Arya scored 16 runs and became the victim of Josh Hazlewood. PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer could score only 7 runs for the team and lost his wicket on Hazelwood’s bouncing ball. Josh Inglis scored 14 runs with the help of two fours and was dismissed by Josh Hazelwood. But Nehal Wadhera gave Punjab Kings the victory by hitting two powerful sixes and two fours on Suyash Sharma’s ball.
This was RCB’s third consecutive defeat at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in this season of IPL 2025. While Punjab Kings won their fifth win in seven matches of the season. Due to this, this team is now in second place in the points table of IPL 2025. On the other hand, RCB reached fourth place due to losing the match.
