The Board of Control for Cricket in India released its central contract list on Monday, 21st. In this year’s list, surprising names have been included in the list. As everyone would know, experienced players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja have been placed in the A+ category.
The A+ category is for those players who play all three formats. Such players get a place in this category. But both Rohit Sharma and Kohli retired from T20I last year, yet they have memorable innings and their own contribution for Team India, due to which this honor has been given which both these batsmen deserve.
BCCI Central Contract 2025: Strong Comeback of Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan
Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Kuldeep Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Axar Patel have got a place in BCCI Central Contract 2025 category B. All these players have been a part of the success of the Indian team in the 2025 Champions Trophy. After Shreyas Iyer was dropped from the BCCI Central Contract 2025 last year, Shreyas Iyer’s good innings in the Champions Trophy 2025 got him a place in the list.
The surprising thing is that BCCI has also included Ishan Kishan in the BCCI Central Contract 2025 and included him in category C. Last year, Ishan Kishan was not included in the BCCI central contract list due to personal reasons. Since then he has been out of the team.
