India vs Australia 2025-26 New Series Schedule Released, Australia will play 8 Matches with India in this series

Cricket Australia has made a big announcement and released the schedule of the men’s international cricket program for the India vs Australia 2025-26 season. This season will start in June.

The Indian team will travel to Australia in the month of October for 3 ODIs and 5 T20 Internationals.

Both the Indian men’s and women’s cricket teams will travel to Australia during the month of October. The Indian men’s team will play a total of eight white-ball matches with the Australian team from October 19 to November 8, 2025, including three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five T20 Internationals (T20Is). The matches of this series are going to be played at eight different venues in Australia.

Australia team will play against Indian team before Ashes

After facing the Indian team, the Australian team will be ready for the much-awaited Ashes series against England. According to the schedule, it seems that the star players of the Australian team get enough time to recover between the India series and the Ashes, so that the players of the Australian team can give their best.

Apart from the Indian series, Australia has a busy schedule in the second half of 2025. Before taking on the Indian team, Australia will play a white-ball series against South Africa in August, which includes three ODIs and three T20 matches.

As the T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held in India and Sri Lanka in February-March 2026, Australia is focusing more on its T20 cricket. They will play a T20 series with the New Zealand team in the month of October to improve their preparations and will also play a T20 series in Pakistan in February 2026.
