IPL 2025 Final Match Likely to Shift: Due to the recent war between India and Pakistan, IPL 2025 was postponed by the BCCI for a week on 9 May. This forced the Board of Control for Cricket in India to change the new Venue and Schedule of the match. Currently, many news and reports suggest that IPL 2025 will resume from May 16 and will further increase the enthusiasm of the fans.
IPL 2025 Final Match Likely to Shift from Kolkata to Ahmedabad
Recently, a report by the popular Hindustan Times stated that the IPL 2025 final is likely to be shifted from Kolkata’s Eden Gardens ground to Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. The honorable members of the IPL Governing Council and several BCCI officials held an emergency meeting on May 11 and decided to play this exciting tournament at four safe venues, such as Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad.
The Qualifier 1 and Eliminator matches of IPL 2025 are also likely to be played at the previously scheduled venue Hyderabad. But due to this huge gap of one week in IPL, the final of this season is likely to be played on June 1 instead of May 25 and the venue for this final match will be Ahmedabad.
As there is a possibility of rain in Kolkata on June 1, this IPL 2025 final match is likely to be shifted to Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
